FOR 50th REUNION PARADE ATTIRE

As the 50th Reunion Class, the Class of 1958 has the esteemed honor of leading the Alumni Parade of Classes during Reunion. Here is what you’re asked to wear for our “official” parade attire so you can plan ahead and look smashing for the occasion. See the enclosed photo of Jim and Susie Bowers as examples. You’ll be handed the custom made hats, ties and scarves when you arrive on campus. (Please keep an eye out for the Reunion Registration and 50th Reunion Class book that will be mailed to you in March.)

CLASSMATES ARE ASKED TO WEAR:

• Navy blue blazer
• White shirt (to wear with the 100% custom silk tie that you’ll be given)
• Haggar Comfort Fit slacks color 'string', or LL Bean color 'stone' khakis (or a similar style and color)
• Footwear of your choice

At Reunion check-in you’ll receive your:

• Gambler tan 'one size fits most' hat with a purple and gold outside band
• Necktie - 58 inch, 100% silk, custom designed for our Class

 

LADIES ARE ASKED TO WEAR:

• Dark blazer (navy or black- if too hot that morning, no need to wear one)
• White top of your choice (golf shirt, blouse or t-shirt either long or short sleeve are all fine)
• Khaki slacks, skirt or walking shorts (Haggar Comfort Fit slacks color 'string', or LL Bean color 'stone' or similar style and color)
• Footwear of your choice

At check-in you’ll receive your:

• Tan straw hat with a purple and yellow band
• Custom 100% silk scarf 11" X 56", gold and purple cows lined up within a broad gold and purple border

 

CHECK-IN AT 50th REUNION HEADQUARTERS WHEN YOU FIRST ARRIVE ON CAMPUS (former Saint House, now the Center for Development Economics, across from The Williams Inn)

At check-in you’ll receive a Welcome Gift Bag per family with your schedule and all the important information for the weekend. You’ll find lots of goodies in the bag too, including one gift from the Reunion Committee, one gift from an enthusiastic and very generous classmate, two three-inch lapel pins with our class logo as designed by the artistically talented Howie Abbott, one silk necktie, one silk scarf and two straw hats for the parade and beyond.
